Born and raised in Columbia, SC, she held aspirations to a career in the fashion industry as early as she can remember. Strongly encouraged to express herself creatively and confidently, she began learning her stylish craft from her mother. Through discovery of old photos and watching her mother dress in elegant attire, a deep admiration and appreciation of style and wardrobe construction was fostered within her.

As early as 1997, she began exploring her visual voice and other talents mastering runway, print, commercial and mannequin modeling, dance and chorus. Traveled and competed often and winning multiple titles locally and regionally. She later taught classes to young girls and boys during high school. Creating art with her hands and body is what she loved to do.

Armed with a strong will to succeed and natural talent, Whitney moved to Atlanta, GA for college. To help round out her industry arsenal, she continued her education at Bauder College and graduated with a BA in Business Administration with a focus on Fashion Merchandising & Marketing.

While there she became more seasoned in event production and fashion show directing roles on multiple college campuses such as GA Tech, Clark Atlanta, SCAD & more. Assisted celebrity stylist Taijuan Wilcox and secured an internship in 2008 with business mogul and rapper, Akon’s then premium menswear line Konvict Apparel & Aliaune Milano headquartered in Buckhead, Atlanta. She later received her certification, at Parsons The New School of Design in Manhattan.

While in New York, Whitney continued to excel and work with some of the fashion industry’s most colorful and creative people in a variety of capacities, including Creative Director, Wardrobe & Prop Stylist, Event Coordinator, Style Influencer, and Visual Display Artist. Including spaces and businesses like Saks Fifth Avenue, NIKE, Air Jordan, H&M, Topshop, Lord & Taylor 5th Ave Flagship, Bloomingdales, Harlem’s Fashion Row, Essence, Google, WeTV, Windows Wear, and New York Fashion Week. For Whitney, it's never been about labels head to toe. She loves a good "high & low" wardrobe combo and a master at hunting the runway look for less. Making sure all her clients feel like themselves in her vision is the reward. Whether she's helping clients build a strong closet, searching for new designers, or rebranding commercial style, Whitney is always on the move.

She is focusing on being a positive influence for other young women by showing that great style has everything to do with personal acceptance and celebration and nothing to do with a specific price point.
